BIF Processing (P0 → P1)
A **Basic Industry Facility (BIF)** processes raw planet materials (P0) into processed materials (P1) on a **30-minute cycle**:
- Input per Cycle: 3,000 units of P0
- Output per Cycle: 20 units of P1
- Cycles per Hour: 2 cycles
Base Extraction Rate: 30,000 P0 → 200 P1 / hr
Dynamic Layout Balancing
The suggestion engine dynamically shifts slots between extractors and factories depending on local resource abundance to find the production sweet spot:
Factory_Slots = max(1, round(Total_Slots / (R + 1)))
Extractor_Slots = Total_Slots - Factory_Slots
When resource density or cycle yield rises, the extractor footprint needed decreases, allowing the engine to allocate more factory slots.
